The courses on this site provide hands-on tutorials, reference materials, and self-testing opportunities on a variety of GPS and GIS hardware and software.

University of Arkansas students, faculty, and staff can use this site to learn about Trimble GPS equipment and the basics of GPS. Courses on this website are offered for the Trimble GeoExplorer II, Trimble GeoExplorer 3, and Trimble GeoXM receivers. Although you can access the course materials without logging in, if you are interested in using CAST's GPS equipment you will need to register on this site and pass the self-assessments at the end of each course module. You will receive a certificate of completion after passing all assessments for a particular course at the 80% level.

Due to insurance deductibles, you will also be asked to provide a University cost center number when borrowing CAST equipment to cover accidental loss or damage.
