This course will familarize you with the basic principles of Geographic Information Systems and then Geographic Positioning Systems. All the other courses in this camp build upon this basic knowledge so it's recommended that first-time users and learners take this course before taking the others. The first module covers GIS and a little bit of GeoMedia in general and the second module covers some general GPS knowledge like almanacs.
