The software used in this project was ArcView 3. 3, Network Analyst for ArcView, ArcGIS 8.3, and ArcInfo.
The top layer in this animation gives a relative indication of breast cancer rates in Arkansas whereas the bottom layer shows population centers. The long white spines connecting the two layers are cities and towns in Arkansas with a population greater than 5,000.
This type of visualization demonstrates how the highest proportion of breast cancer does not always correlate to greater population.
Using a digital elevation model, I created this animation of western Washington County to demonstrate the physiographic features around Prairie Grove. Notice as you fly around the city how it is surrounded in three directions by hills and mountains. This flyover was created using ArcView 3D Analyst Extension and the ArcView Extension 3D In Control
